Seems solid so far and puts out a good breeze. Good looking, though in the picture they made it look much whiter than it is.
It took most of a day to install, directions not that intuitive.
I give it only 3 because of the controls. The wall switch turns on the light. it takes a specialty bulb, not a normal,easy-to find-CFL medium base bulb.
You have to use the remote to turn the fan on and the light off. If you lose the remote, or battery runs out (also a “specialty”battery) you literally can not turn
your fan on. Also, the remote seems weak, i have to stand right under the fan and point the darn remote at it and press several times to get it to respond.
A pull chain option,or an option for the wall switch to turn on the fan rather than just the light, would have been great.
Once you get around to putting it up, your guarantee’s run out and the packaging is opened, and if you could return it
you’d have to pay shipping back.
I will always have a slight feeling of being “stuck” with this, I didn’t know what the remote would be like.
